Lessons we learn from the Last Episode of Dil Ruba:

By: Uswah E Fatima

Dil Ruba, the drama who's ending changed the shape of Pakistani Dramas. I hope writers, directors, and producers learn from it. I would like to appreciate the writer Qaisera Hayat who didn't end the story on the same old note where either the woman like Sanam would be left all alone in despair or will be found chopping off her hair in the mental asylum. Change and forgiveness after a long time of mistakes and sins are not just the mere right of a particular gender. Every human deserves the right to start fresh, change, and be forgiven. It's often seen in our dramas that women barely get any second chances but many men do. We humans often forget that if we can change, ask forgiveness and be forgiving. By seeing us, may be people around us can do the same.

The drama started on a very interesting note and has ended with many life-changing lessons. One of which is that a human should be forgiven whether it’s a man or a woman. We all deserve second chances.

Sabih & Sanam, the happy couple!

A man like Sabih is beautiful for his character and a woman like Sanam can learn from her past and live a wonderful life full of happiness. No one deserves to be judged on his looks and past that don't fit the social standards of the society. Let's pledge to open our hearts with Dil Ruba's ending, be more kind and forgiving, and stop looking at beauty from the surface.
